This is a project I have not mentioned here until now. Some of you know that I am a member of the Star Trek Phase-II production team. I have worked as a Production Assistant, a bit part player (thanks for the correction, Pony), a Unit Production Manager, a Second Assistant Director, and an Assistant to the Line Producer—my current roll. Well, I’ve also written and submitted a script. I want to say up front that there is absolutely no guarantee that this script will ever be produced. Both the script itself and the decision as to whether or not to produce it are in Executive Producer James Cawley’s hands. All I will say about the story is that it is my take on James T. Kirk’s first mission as captain of the Enterprise. Until James Cawley makes a decision one way or the other, any more details will have to come from him, and if he does decide to produce it, then Phase-II will own it and he will have full control over the release of any and all information relating to it. For now, I wait.
